HOLT PUBLISHING | COBI-2417 HC KOREAN WAR /2417/ VOUGHT F4U-4 CORSAIR 520pcs
COBI
The Vought F4U-4 Corsair was a US Navy fighter aircraft. It was produced from 1942-1952 by Vought-Sikorsky Aircraft. The popular "Corsair" entered service in 1942. The design process, however, dates to 1938. The characteristic shape of the hinged wings and the rearward-shifted pilot's cockpit were the result of numerous modifications during the design and testing phase of the prototypes. The culmination of the design work was a construction with exceptional performance, considered by many to be the best fighter of World War II.
Corsairs were used by American units during the Korean War. In the initial period, there were dog fights between the F4U and the Yak-9 fighters, but with the arrival of the MiG-15, Corsairs in Korea were withdrawn to the role of support aircraft and night fighters. The plane was armed with six 12.7mm Browning machine guns, two 450kg bombs or eight 127mm HVAR unguided missiles. The first African American US Navy pilot (whose life inspired a film script) sat at the controls of just such a machine.
The Vought F4U-4 Corsair kit was released under the license of the Northrop-Grumman concern and contains 520 high-quality components. The historical pilot figure has been enriched with an additional head that can be mounted interchangeably. The fighter plane model from COBI was created with attention to the smallest details in a 1:32 scale. It is covered with high-quality prints that do not wear off even during intensive use. The cabin opens and a figure can be placed in it. Other moving parts include ailerons, a propeller and folding wheels. The printed markings refer to the heroic pilot from the Korean War. The whole set is complemented by a display plate with the name of the aircraft model printed on it. The Corsair by COBI also perfectly complements the other WWII and Korean war planes in 1:32 scale. It is one of the most beautiful block models ever made and always attracts attention due to the extremely characteristic appearance of hinged and folded wings.

COBI-2531 M12 GMC Historical Collection: WW2 World War II Historical Collection 560 construction blocks 2 figures Age group: 7+
The powerful M12 self-propelled gun is the result of adapting the chassis of the popular M3 Lee medium tank to handle a 155 mm gun. The design process proved long and lasted from 1941 to 1944. In the meantime, the produced test units were repeatedly rebuilt. Eventually, at the end of July 1944, the M12 self-propelled cannons were delivered to the western front. Interestingly, the Cargo Carrier M30 was also designed at the same time. It was a version of M12 without a cannon, serving as an ammunition carrier. For each M12 self-propelled cannon there was one M30 ammunition carrier, which also carried part of the crew operating the M12 cannon. M30 conveyors did not have a blade at the back of the hull stabilizing the vehicle during shooting. M12 self-propelled cannons were used mainly to support the manoeuvring operations of armoured troops, combat targets of tactical importance, support infantry fire and prepare artillery in the direction of impacts.

The Renault R35, an abbreviation of Char léger Modèle 1935 R or R 35, was a French light infantry tank of the Second World War. Designed from 1933 onwards and produced from 1936, the type was intended as an infantry support light tank, equipping autonomous tank battalions, that would be allocated to individual infantry divisions to assist them in executing offensive operations. To this end, it was relatively well-armoured but slow and lacking a good antitank capacity, fitted with a short 37 mm gun. At the outbreak of the war, the antitank role was more emphasized leading to the development and eventual production from April 1940 of a subtype with a more powerful longer gun, the Renault R40.

The KV-1 (known in Poland as the KW-1) was a Soviet heavy tank that surpassed the German designs at the beginning of the war. It was produced from 1940-1943 at the Leningrad Kirov Plants and the Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant. 4,786 units of all versions were produced. The name of the tank comes from the Soviet Défense Commissar, Kliment Voroshilov.
The tank was characterized by strong Armor up to 82mm, impossible to penetrate for most German equipment, and a heavy weight of up to 45 tons. The main armament was a 76mm gun. The tank's disadvantages were slowness, steerability, unreliable engine, lack of ergonomics and poor visibility of the battlefield. Despite this the tank was a difficult opponent. The successor of the KW-1 equipped with the same gun was the legendary T-34 tank.
You can build a model of the famous Soviet KV-1 tank from 656 COBI blocks. Movable track traction, rotating turret, opening engine compartments and hatches, prints, Soviet markings and a figure of a tanker and a soldier make the set not only an exhibition model, but also a toy for everyone. HOLT PUBLISHING | COBI-2559 HC WWII /2559/ PANZER VIII MAUS 1605pcs
COBI
There is probably no other tank that has inspired more curiosity and interest in the entire history of mechanized Armor than the Panzer VIII “MAUS”. It is surrounded by an aura of mystery, and the facts are mixed about it with the legends surrounding growing over the years. The Panzerkampfwagen VIII "MAUS" was a prototype German super heavy tank from the Second World War. It was the heaviest and largest tank ever built. It weighed over 188 tons! The project was carried out in the years 1942-1944. Only two incomplete prototypes were ever built and never entered service. In April 1945, the Red Army captured both abandoned Maus prototypes, which were located at the Kummersdorf training ground. They were assembled into a vehicle with the hull of the first prototype and the turret of the second. This hybrid is still one of the main attractions of the Tank Museum in Kubinka near Moscow. Panzer VIII "MAUS" #2559 is a very special model in the COBI collection! It was built from the beginning in 1:28 scale and is 39 cm long! Removable covers on the turret and hull give you access to the detailed interior. Removable engine, opening hatches, movable barrel and working tracks are other advantages of this set. The tank presented in the context of its construction at the factory is covered with high-quality prints that do not wear off during intensive use.
"MAUS" is a must for enthusiasts of history, Armor and the secret weapons of World War II. The beautiful and enormous model will perfectly complement any tank collection, becoming its main attraction. Thanks to the intuitive instructions the construction is simple, but due to the unique design of the interior, many elements and the time needed to assemble the set we do recommend the model to slightly older builders.

HOLT PUBLISHING | COBI-2569 HC WWII /2569/ M4A3 SHERMAN W/T34 CALLIOPE 1230pcs
COBI
The Executive Edition of the Sherman tank with the T34 Calliope multi-rocket launcher mounted on it is a set that COBI fans have been waiting on for years! The set also includes a unique figure of a French gendarme, which will surely steal the hearts of fans who appreciate military pop culture and TV history.
The M4 Sherman was the main American medium tank from the Second World War. Produced in the years 1942-1945, it became the most recognizable American tank. The T34 Calliope was a 60-tube launcher that fired 114.3 mm (4.6 inch) M8 rockets. The entire structure of the launcher was made of plywood. It was a one-off construction and was removed after all the rockets had been fired. The advantage of the launcher was the large number of missiles fired, with better performance than the German equivalent Nebelwerfer. The disadvantages included not the greatest accuracy of the rockets and the way they were mounted on the tank, which posed a significant threat to the crew in the event of urgent evacuation. Calliope was developed in 1943 and about 200 were produced. It was used in the American 2nd Armoured Division in France.
The block-based Sherman was produced in a large scale 1:28, which allows more details to be reproduced! The tank has a movable cannon, a rotating turret, an opening hatch and working tracks. The tower is equipped with the T34 Calliope multi-tube rocket launcher consisting of 60 tubes. Special, new elements have been designed to build it! All graphic details are high-quality prints that do not wear off even during intense play. The advantage is the design that uniquely reflects the original shapes of its historical inspiration. There are additional accessories on the tank that recreate the vehicle's and can be used by minifigures representing the tank's crew. Particularly noteworthy are the perfectly reproduced figures of the tank commander and the characteristic French gendarme. They’re heroes worthy of cult cinema and TV productions. The whole set is complemented by a black collector's plate with the name of the set printed on it.
Our tanks are perfect for mature enthusiasts of military technology and everyone, regardless of age, who loves history and construction! Build history, piece by piece, with COBI.

The mighty Panzerkampfwagen E-100 is a mysterious German prototype super-heavy tank developed in the final stages of World War II. The vehicle was designed as part of the Entwicklungsserie program, aimed at developing a series of unique armoured vehicles of various types. Work started in 1943 but was discontinued by 1944. The Henschel company tried to continue its work to a limited extent. It became possible to produce the hull on which, according to plans from 1943, a modified Maus tank turret was to be mounted. Further modifications were also considered to allow the installation of even larger calibre guns. Captured by the Allies, the hull was sent to Great Britain for testing in 1945, and later scrapped. There is only a modest photographic and drawing documentation of the E-100 tank. Due to its uniqueness and size, the vehicle is very popular and often appears not only in historical literature, but also in games and documentaries.

HOLT PUBLISHING | COBI-2990 HC GREAT WAR /2990/ VICKERS A1 E1 INDEPENDENT 887pcs
COBI
Exceptional, unique and the only one in the world! The Vickers A1E1 INDEPENDENT is a British prototype heavy tank from the interwar period. Only one was made, and it’s well cared for as a "star" in The Tank Museum in Great Britain. A characteristic feature of this unusual vehicle is its multi-turret design! The tank has five rotating towers! The largest is equipped with a 3-pounder cannon. The remaining four are equipped with a Vickers machine gun. The order for a multi-turret heavy tank was placed by the General Staff of the British Army in 1924. In 1926, a prototype of the tank was presented. Due to the lack of funds, further work on this project was abandoned. The design solutions used in the Independent were also used in the later British Medium Mark III and Cruiser Mark I constructions. The designs of the Soviet T-28, T-35 and T-100 tanks are also surprisingly like the Vickers Independent, and this is not a coincidence.
Use a set of 887 COBI blocks to build a realistically reproduced, historical prototype tank from The Tank Museum collection. The vehicle was designed in cooperation with the Tank Museum in 1:35 scale. Particularly noteworthy are numerous details, durable, characteristic prints and the specialized elements used. The model continues the series of museum exhibits released in a block version. More experienced designers will also certainly be tempted to build Soviet versions of multi-turret tanks. The set includes a figure of a British tanker in a beret with a printed emblem of the Royal Tank Regiment! The set is completed with a large plate with the name of the set and the printed logo of The Tank Museum.
A historical tank is a great gift idea, regardless of the age of the recipient. The set is perfect for collectors, lovers of Armor, military technology and history enthusiasts. It’s also a great start to the adventure with Polish COBI building blocks. Build history, piece by piece, with COBI.

A unique set that embodies the COBI slogan: Build history, piece by piece! The Renault FT was a French light tank from the First World War. It was designed in 1917 and went down in history as the benchmark tank for almost all later designs. The block model was developed under the supervision of the world's largest museum of armored weapons in the Musée des Blindés, Musée Général Estienne, Saumur (France) in 1:35 scale, which fits the figures and the rest of the Great War collection. The Renault FT was used by many countries, including France, Belgium, Turkey and Poland through World War II. It was the most effective armoured vehicle of the Great War. Its task was to support the infantry and the tail installed at the rear was to help overcome the trenches. The rotating turret provided effective fire in different directions. This model is distinguished by characteristic narrow, movable tracks. This is an example of the exceptional craftsmanship of COBI designers, who perfectly reproduced all proportions and details of this vehicle.
A special figure is included in the set. Jean Baptiste Eugène Estienne (1860-1936) was an outstanding French general of artillery, specialist in military engineering and one of the founders of modern French artillery and armoured forces. It is thanks to his enormous efforts that the implementation of armoured forces into the army was prepared, and the tactics of their use were developed. The general in France was nicknamed "Père des Chars" (the father of the tank) and became the patron of the famous Musée des Blindés in Saumur.
The Renault FT with the figure of general Estienne is a must for enthusiasts of history, Armor and a beautiful model for the collection dedicated to the Great War. Our GREAT WAR collection, refreshed in 1:35 scale, cannot do without this most important set!
For fans of Polish history, we recommend an alternative set (COBI-2992) with a Renault FT tank in Polish markings. 2992 is accompanied by a figure of General Józef Haller, the commander of the "Blue Army" and the Father of Independence of the reborn Republic of Poland.

HOLT PUBLISHING | COBI-2993 Mark I Male no C.19 878pcs
The Great War ushered in the era of steel elephants, which continues to this day. It was then that the design of one of the first tanks was born: MARK I (Male) number C.19. You can build the prototype of all future tanks with 878 COBI construction blocks. The model measures 28 cm in length and thanks to the use of the 1:35 modelling scale, the model fits COBI figures and other vehicles released in this size. The tank is equipped with working tracks, rotating cannons and opening flaps. Markings and emblems are made of colourful blocks and durable prints that do not wear off even during intensive use. The set includes a figure of a British tank driver from the Great War period and a plate with the name of the set and the logo of The Tank Museum, which houses the original tank on which we modelled this set.
The British Mark I tank (Male version) was produced in 1916 during the Great War. It was one of the first tanks used in military history. The designation "Male" in the name meant that it was a variant of the tank equipped with a combination of cannons located in turrets on the sides of the vehicle and machine guns. The "Female" versions of this type of tank were equipped with multiple machine guns only. The vehicle was powered by a gasoline engine that allowed it to travel at speeds up to 4 miles per hour. It was slow and bulky, but its Armor provided some protection against enemy infantry small arms. The Mark I (Male) no C.19. tank was first used in combat in 1916 at the Battle of the Somme during World War I. Its main goal was to break through enemy fortifications, destroy barbed wire and support the infantry in capturing positions. Although it was not a perfect combat vehicle, its presence on the battlefield played an important role in the evolution of war strategy. The Mark I tank is a must-have for history and Armor enthusiasts and a beautiful model for a collection dedicated to the Great War. Build history, piece by piece, with COBI.

Graf Zeppelin is the only aircraft carrier in the history of Germany. Its construction began on December 28, 1936, in Kiel. At the behest of Adolf Hitler, work was stopped in 1943 despite the progress of the construction at over 90%. This was due to the withdrawal of all large units after the Battle of the Barents Sea. The aircraft carrier was towed to Szczecin, where useful equipment was dismantled. Its construction was never completed. At the beginning of 1945, fearing the advances of the Red Army, the carrier was partially sunk and shelled by artillery. In the summer of 1945, the raised and partially repaired ship was incorporated into the USSR Navy. However, it was not qualified for renovation. In 1947, she served as a target ship and was sunk in the Baltic Sea. In 2006, the shipwreck was located 55 km north of Władysławowo. It rests at a depth of 87 meters.

The model has numerous moving parts such as: propellers, rudders, rotating towers and gun barrels that can be raised and lowered. The USS Pennsylvania and USS Arizona were two battleships launched during the Great War. During their service, the ships underwent modernization. Both Pennsylvania-class ships were present at Pearl Harbor during the Japanese attack on December 7, 1941. During the raid on the USS Arizona there was a catastrophic detonation. Most of the crew were killed, and the ship sank, becoming a symbol of the Japanese attack. The wreckage of the battleship has never been recovered. The elements of the superstructure protruding above the water surface were removed, leaving only the barbet of the third main artillery tower. In 1962, the USS Arizona mausoleum on the wreckage was opened. During the attack on Pearl Harbor, USS Pennsylvania was only slightly damaged and served throughout World War II in the Pacific, undergoing subsequent modernizations. During the Battle of the Surigao Strait (October 25, 1944), Pennsylvania was hit by a torpedo. Severe damage to the drive made the repair unprofitable. In 1946 the obsolete ship became a target for nuclear weapons tests.

HOLT PUBLISHING | COBI-4846 HC WWII /4846/ U-BOAT XXVII "SEEHUND" 181pcs
COBI
COBI, together with the Deutsches Marine Museum, has created a unique commemorative set in Honor of the museum exhibit! Seehund (Type XXVII B) was a midget submarine produced in Germany at the end of World War II. Designed in 1944 and manned by a crew of two, it was used by the German Navy in the final months of the war. One of the few surviving ships is exhibited in the Deutsches Marine Museum.
The block U-Boot TYPE XXVII "SEEHUND" was developed in 1:72 scale. The 1:144 scale used so far for submarines turned out to be too small for such a small submarine. The use of the 1:72 scale made it possible to reproduce the characteristic shapes of a real ship. All graphic elements are high-quality, durable prints. The set includes a block display stand and a plate with the name of the set printed on it. Our Historical Collection isn’t complete without this sub! Build history, piece by piece, with COBI.

We didn’t forget about such details as the rudder, turbines and the opening hatch with the outline of the engine underneath, either. The set uses permanent prints only. To display this beautiful model, we designed a special brick display stand with a plate containing the name of the boat. The set also includes two figures depicting an American infantry soldier and a sailor from the boat crew. A large US flag printed on both sides’ flies on the Higgins Boat, as well.
This is a special D-Day anniversary set intended for enthusiasts of history, military technology and block modelling! Build history, piece by piece, with COBI!
Landing Craft, Vehicle, Personnel (LCVP) or the Higgins Boat was a type of landing craft used during World War II and later to transport and land supplies, small vehicles and soldiers. They were used on a massive scale during D-Day (June 6, 1944) and in Operations Torch in North Africa, Husky, Shingle and Avalanche in Italy, as well as in combat in the Pacific in the Battle of Guadalcanal, the Gilbert Islands, the Philippines, Iwo Jima and Okinawa.
The Higgins Boat was designed by Andrew Higgins. Various manufacturers produced over 20,000 of these units. Most of the structure was built mainly of plywood, which made the boat very cheap and easy to build, extremely light, but at the same time it did not provide any protection against gunfire. Thanks to the flat bottom, a special lowered front ramp and the drive cover, it could reach any shore, even very shallow ones. The barge could carry a 36-person army platoon on board. In the case of transporting a small vehicle such as an off-road vehicle, it could also accommodate about 12 soldiers or 3.6 tons of cargo. The landing craft reached speeds of up to 12 knots (14 mph, 22 km/h). The boat was also armed with two machine guns operated by two gunners.

The Wunderwaffe, a cutting-edge weapon that was supposed to turn the tide of war, comes to the Historical Collection. The Messerschmitt Me 262 is the first ever jet-powered fighter in combat! Manufactured by Germany, it entered service in 1944 as an interceptor. Bomb and reconnaissance versions were also created. It was called Sturmvogel by German pilots and was known among the Allies as the Turbo. The late introduction of the aircraft into service meant that it did not play a significant role during the war. Messerschmitt Me 262s achieved 900 kills with losses of 100 machines. This COBI plane is inspired by a model that is on display at the Deutsches Museum in Munich. It was piloted by Hans Guido Mutke, who in the last days of the war reached Switzerland, where he was interned. Years later, the machine returned to Germany as a museum exhibit.
Use 390 COBI construction bricks to build a perfectly recreated legendary German jet plane from the Second World War! This beautiful historical plane has been designed with attention to detail. The Vickers Wellington was a British twin-engine basic WWII night bomber. After October 1940 it was also used by the Polish aviation in Great Britain. This extremely successful plane was produced from 1937 until the end of the war in 1945. It was created in many different variants which differed in equipment but not in the basic design. Due to their low manoeuvrability, the Wellingtons flew mainly at night. They were also perfect for coastal patrolling and as submarine hunters. Additionally, they were famous for their high resistance to damage sustained in combat.
The British Vickers Wellington bomber was precisely reproduced from COBI construction blocks in 1:37 scale. The plane is 53 cm long and has a wingspan of 71.5 cm. The design of such a huge model required the use of 1,162 bricks. The set also includes precise prints that do not rub off during intense play. History enthusiasts will appreciate the printed historical markings of the 305 Bomber Squadron of the Wielkopolska Region and Lidzka Marshal Józef Piłsudski. There is even nose art of a Duck carrying a bomb! The plane has rotating propellers, folding wheels and an open cabin, in which you can place the two pilots included in the set. The Lockheed® P-38 LIGHTNING® was a fast and heavily armed American long-range fighter aircraft of the Second World War. The plane was decommissioned only in 1965.

The Messerschmitt BF 109 was the main Luftwaffe fighter from the Second World War, the most widely produced and in many different versions. Found on every German front of the Second World War, the E-3 version entered production in May 1939. Airplanes of this type took part in the Battle of Britain. The historic prints of the set refer to a machine flown by 22-year-old non-commissioned officer Horst Perez, who, due to a possible engine failure, had to make an emergency landing in a field in East Dean, Sussex. The pilot was taken prisoner, and the repaired plane was tested in the USA and Canada. Currently, the fighter is on display at a museum in Great Britain.
The COBI Messerschmitt BF 109 E-3 is a completely new design adapted to the 1:32 scale. The plane is even bigger and contains more details with the help of 333 COBI construction blocks. The plane has a movable propeller and ailerons. Its rotating rubber tire wheels lower out of the undercarriage in the take-off or landing position. The pilot's cabin can be opened to seat a figure at the controls, which also has a print on the back! The plane has been covered with high-quality prints that do not wear off even during intense play. Stickers are completely absent from this set. The prints reflect the painting and equipment of the plane from the war period. The set also includes a special stand - which makes the display of the model even more attractive - and a plate with the name of the plane.

COBI
The Hawker Hurricane Mk I is one of the most popular British WWII fighters. It did very well in action, facing the German Messerschmitts. The small arms were eight 7.7mm Browning machine guns. The model designed by COBI refers to the colours of the Czechoslovakian pilot and fighter ace Josef František flying in the famous 303 Squadron.
The plane, modelled on a scale of 1:32, has a movable propeller and ailerons. Its rotating rubber tire wheels slide out of the undercarriage in the take-off or landing position. The pilot's cabin can be opened to place at the controls a carefully reproduced figure of the heroic pilot from Squadron 303 (Josef František). The plane has been covered with high-quality prints that do not wear off even during intensive use. Stickers are completely dispensed with in this set. The prints reflect the markings and equipment of the aircraft from the Battle of Britain in 1940.
The set also includes a special stand that enhances the display of the model and a plate with the name of the aircraft.
