The T-34-85 was a Soviet medium tank produced between 1941 and 1958. During World War II it was the primary vehicle of Soviet armoured forces. Due to its great simplicity, it was very easy to manufacture, use and repair. Many historians believe that the T-34-85 was instrumental in the Allied victory. The vehicle was used by dozens of countries for many years after the end of the war. A classic subject for COBI, the T-34 has undergone revolutionary changes in its latest version. The use of 668 blocks made it possible to accurately reproduce the body of the vehicle. Smaller tracks were used, the hull was narrowed, and the frontal wall of the Armor was smoothed. The turret, cannon design and fenders have also been modified. Under the service flap there is an attractive-looking brick-built motor. The M24 Chaffee was an American light tank of World War II. Between 1944 and 1945, 4,731 units were produced. It successfully replaced the M3/M5 Stuart light tank. Chaffee was equipped with welded Armor, two engines and a 75mm cannon, which was previously designed for the B-25 Mitchell bomber. It was the first Western Allied tank to use torsion sticks as suspensions. Occasionally, Allied soldiers opened fire on their own tanks because the Chaffee chassis resembled a German Panzer II and a Panther. The tank was used in battles in France, Italy and the Third Reich. After the war, the M24 remained in service by American troops. It enjoyed great popularity and found many buyers all over the world. The M24 was also used in the Korean War. Units belonging to France fought in Indochina and Algeria. In the Vietnam War they were used by the South Vietnamese army. To this day they are active with the Uruguayan army. The Sd.Kfz. 251 half-track was a World War II German armoured personnel carrier designed by the Hanomag company and was based on its earlier, unarmoured Sd.Kfz. 11 vehicles. The Sd.Kfz. 251 was designed to transport the Panzergrenadier (German mechanized infantry) into battle. Sd.Kfz. 251’s was the most widely produced German half-tracks of the war, with at least 15,252 vehicles and variants produced by seven manufacturers.

The Renault R35, an abbreviation of Char léger Modèle 1935 R or R 35, was a French light infantry tank of the Second World War. Designed from 1933 onwards and produced from 1936, the type was intended as an infantry support light tank, equipping autonomous tank battalions, that would be allocated to individual infantry divisions to assist them in executing offensive operations. To this end, it was relatively well-armoured but slow and lacking a good antitank capacity, fitted with a short 37 mm gun. At the outbreak of the war, the antitank role was more emphasized leading to the development and eventual production from April 1940 of a subtype with a more powerful longer gun, the Renault R40.

The KV-1 (known in Poland as the KW-1) was a Soviet heavy tank that surpassed the German designs at the beginning of the war. It was produced from 1940-1943 at the Leningrad Kirov Plants and the Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant. 4,786 units of all versions were produced. The name of the tank comes from the Soviet Défense Commissar, Kliment Voroshilov.
The tank was characterized by strong Armor up to 82mm, impossible to penetrate for most German equipment, and a heavy weight of up to 45 tons. The main armament was a 76mm gun. The tank's disadvantages were slowness, steerability, unreliable engine, lack of ergonomics and poor visibility of the battlefield. Despite this the tank was a difficult opponent. The successor of the KW-1 equipped with the same gun was the legendary T-34 tank.

The Jagdpanzer 38 (t) in casual language, "Hetzer" is a German armoured cannon from World War II. The design was based on the modified chassis of the PzKpfw 38 (t) tank (Czechoslovakian LT vz. 38). The vehicle was developed in 1943 and production started in 1944. Over 2,500 copies were produced. The greatest advantages of the vehicle were its fast and cheap production, low silhouette and highly inclined armor plates, which favoured the ricochet of shells. After the war, the Czechoslovakian factory continued production until the 1950s for its own and the Swiss army.

There is probably no other tank that has inspired more curiosity and interest in the entire history of mechanized Armor than the Panzer VIII “MAUS”. It is surrounded by an aura of mystery, and the facts are mixed about it with the legends surrounding growing over the years. The Panzerkampfwagen VIII "MAUS" was a prototype German super heavy tank from the Second World War. It was the heaviest and largest tank ever built. It weighed over 188 tons! The project was carried out in the years 1942-1944. Only two incomplete prototypes were ever built and never entered service. In April 1945, the Red Army captured both abandoned Maus prototypes, which were located at the Kummersdorf training ground. They were assembled into a vehicle with the hull of the first prototype and the turret of the second. This hybrid is still one of the main attractions of the Tank Museum in Kubinka near Moscow. Panzer VIII "MAUS" #2559 is a very special model in the COBI collection! It was built from the beginning in 1:28 scale and is 39 cm long! The M4 Sherman was the main American medium tank from the Second World War. Produced in the years 1942-1945, it became the most recognizable American tank. The T34 Calliope was a 60-tube launcher that fired 114.3 mm (4.6 inch) M8 rockets. The entire structure of the launcher was made of plywood. It was a one-off construction and was removed after all the rockets had been fired. The advantage of the launcher was the large number of missiles fired, with better performance than the German equivalent Nebelwerfer. The disadvantages included not the greatest accuracy of the rockets and the way they were mounted on the tank, which posed a significant threat to the crew in the event of urgent evacuation. Calliope was developed in 1943 and about 200 were produced. It was used in the American 2nd Armoured Division in France.

The mighty Panzerkampfwagen E-100 is a mysterious German prototype super-heavy tank developed in the final stages of World War II. The vehicle was designed as part of the Entwicklungsserie program, aimed at developing a series of unique armoured vehicles of various types. Work started in 1943 but was discontinued by 1944. The Henschel company tried to continue its work to a limited extent. It became possible to produce the hull on which, according to plans from 1943, a modified Maus tank turret was to be mounted. Further modifications were also considered to allow the installation of even larger calibre guns. Captured by the Allies, the hull was sent to Great Britain for testing in 1945, and later scrapped. There is only a modest photographic and drawing documentation of the E-100 tank. Due to its uniqueness and size, the vehicle is very popular and often appears not only in historical literature, but also in games and documentaries.

Jagdpanzer V "Jagdpanther" was the best German tank destroyer of World War II. It was designed on the chassis of the famous Panther tank. This huge vehicle was equipped with an effective and battle-proven 88mm gun. The destroyer was characterized by very good Armor and mobility. Production of the Jagdpanther started in December 1943. About 392 units of this vehicle were produced by the end of the war. Jagdpanthers were baptized in Normandy, and they also fought in the Ardennes and in Germany. In cooperation with the Deutschers Panzer Museum Munster, we have prepared a model of the museum’s Merkava Mk. I / II. The Merkava was the first main battle tank designed and manufactured in Israel. Serial production started in 1979. Since then, four generations have been created. The tank is used exclusively by the Israeli Défense Forces and has been involved in all military conflicts and operations that took place after the Yom Kippur War involving the State of Israel.
The tank was designed according to very specific IDF requirements. Above all, it provides very good protection for a tank crew, which is extremely valuable to Israel. The engine is located at the front and is easily accessible and provides additional protection for the crew. The turret and the fighting compartment are located at the rear of the tank. The turret is wedge-shaped, and the hull is low profile, which makes it easier to minimize damage. High firepower is provided by the improved 105mm M68 gun. The empty ammunition compartment can allow for the transport of troops, as well. The Merkava II tank was equipped with reinforced Armor, side screens and a better fire control system. Merkava II tanks were finally replaced with the 3rd and 4th generations in 2021.

Abrams is one of the best tanks of the modern battlefield! It has been produced since 1980 by the American defence company General Dynamics Land Systems. The tank is constantly being modified to meet new standards that increase its combat value. The latest production version is the M1A2 SEPv3. A characteristic feature of the tank is the turret, which takes up almost as much space as the rest of the tank. In its design, the Abrams boasts multi-layer Armor, which provides a high level of protection against HEAT rounds. Abrams tanks were first used in combat in the early 1990s during Operation Desert Storm. Since then, Abrams have been involved in successive military conflicts involving the United States. This set recreates its appearance in the Second Gulf War in 2003. They are also a hot export commodity.

The British Mark V tank (male version) was produced in 1918 at the end of the First World War. The tank was equipped with two 57mm cannons and five machine guns operated by a crew of eight. The Mark V travelled at a dizzying speed of 7.4 km/h and could cover 65 km on the road! These tanks took part in the clashes at Gomel, Amiens and on the Hindenburg line on the Western Front. To this day the museum specimen from The Tank Museum in Bovington (Great Britain), numbered 9199, remains in operation. It was this specimen with documented combat history that served as the prototype for the COBI block model.
A carefully reproduced model of the MARK V (Male) tank, number 9199, consists of 837 COBI construction blocks and measures 29 cm in length. It was designed in 1917 and went down in history as the benchmark tank for almost all later designs. It was the most effective armoured vehicle of the Great War. The block model is a reproduction of a famous tank, which is in the Polish Army Museum in Warsaw. We recreated the very characteristic painting and markings in detail. The popular 1:35 scale fits the figures and the rest of the Great War collection, as well. The Renault FT has been used by many countries, including France, Belgium, Turkey and Poland. The Renault FT appeared in Poland together with the "Blue Army" under the command of General Józef Haller. He was also a Knight of the Order of the White Eagle and Virtuti Militari.

The USS TANG is an American Balao-class submarine from the Second World War. The ship's armament included 24 torpedoes, an anti-aircraft gun and two machine guns. The maximum tested operational depth was 180 meters. It was launched on August 17, 1943. On October 24, 1944, the Tang was sunk during its fifth patrol. The sole commander of the unit was Richard O'Kane, who, along with eight sailors, survived the ship's catastrophe and remained in Japanese captivity until the end of the war. The Iowa-class battleships are four ships ordered by the US Navy from 1939-1940 to conduct joint operations under the so-called high-speed fleet teams (Task Force). From the moment of their inception, the battleships took part in all wars conducted by the USA until the end of the 20th century. It was onboarding the USS Missouri (BB-63) on September 2, 1945, that the act of surrender of the Empire of Japan was signed, officially ending World War II. The USS Pennsylvania and USS Arizona were two battleships launched during the Great War. During their service, the ships underwent modernization. Both Pennsylvania-class ships were present at Pearl Harbor during the Japanese attack on December 7, 1941. During the raid on the USS Arizona there was a catastrophic detonation. COBI, together with the Deutsches Marine Museum, has created a unique commemorative set in Honor of the museum exhibit! Seehund (Type XXVII B) was a midget submarine produced in Germany at the end of World War II. Designed in 1944 and manned by a crew of two, it was used by the German Navy in the final months of the war. One of the few surviving ships is exhibited in the Deutsches Marine Museum.
The block U-Boot TYPE XXVII "SEEHUND" was developed in 1:72 scale. The 1:144 scale used so far for submarines turned out to be too small for such a small submarine. The Higgins Boat model made of COBI construction blocks faithfully reflects its historical inspiration, maintaining the popular 1:35 scale. The block boat is a completely new structure, designed from scratch. The model is 36cm long. It has an opening ramp and a detailed full hull. The set includes movable elements such as two machine guns with covers and a mechanism for lowering and raising the front ramp based on a cable system. Landing Craft, Vehicle, Personnel (LCVP) or the Higgins Boat was a type of landing craft used during World War II and later to transport and land supplies, small vehicles and soldiers. They were used on a massive scale during D-Day (June 6, 1944) and in Operations Torch in North Africa, Husky, Shingle and Avalanche in Italy, as well as in combat in the Pacific in the Battle of Guadalcanal, the Gilbert Islands, the Philippines, Iwo Jima and Okinawa.
The Higgins Boat was designed by Andrew Higgins. Various manufacturers produced over 20,000 of these units. Most of the structure was built mainly of plywood, which made the boat very cheap and easy to build, extremely light, but at the same time it did not provide any protection against gunfire. Thanks to the flat bottom, a special lowered front ramp and the drive cover, it could reach any shore, even very shallow ones. The barge could carry a 36-person army platoon on board. In the case of transporting a small vehicle such as an off-road vehicle, it could also accommodate about 12 soldiers or 3.6 tons of cargo. The landing craft reached speeds of up to 12 knots (14 mph, 22 km/h). The boat was also armed with two machine guns operated by two gunners.

During the 1930s and 40s, it saw both civilian and military service flying as a passenger and freight carrier for twelve commercial airlines including Lufthansa and Swissair and with the Luftwaffe as a troop and cargo transport and even for a short time as a bomber. The Ju 52 nicknamed 'Aunt Ju' and 'Iron Annie', continued to fly well into the 1980s with military and civilian air fleets. 4,845 aircraft were built.

The BF 110D was a very popular twin-engine fighter-bomber aircraft of German construction from the Second World War. Produced between 1938 and 1945 it had several versions. Starting with the B version, it was equipped as standard with 4 MG 17 and 2 x MG FF 20mm rifles mounted on the front of the nose and a single MG 15 mounted on a movable station at the end of the fuselage and operated by a radio operator. It was successfully used during the September and French campaigns. The 110 later took over the role of a bomber. The COBI building block model has many moving elements like the rotating wheels with rubber tires, movable propellers and flaps. In the cabin we put two full-size figures of pilots. The brick model was produced with beautiful pad-printed markings, which it used during operation in the Mediterranean Greek campaign. For the first time ever, COBI offers the most modern French fighter aircraft of the Second World War. The Dewoitine D.520 was designed and built in 1938 at the Société nationale des constructions aéronautiques du Midi. The Dewoitine D.520 was a single-seat all-metal low-wing fighter aircraft. The production of the aircraft was not interrupted by the surrender of France in 1940. Later copies were made for the needs of the Vichy government, the Air Force and the Italian, Bulgarian and Romanian armies. Polish pilots defending France were equipped with 26 aircraft of this type during the German invasion in 1940. A total of about 755 fighter jets were produced. The design proved to be so good that the aircraft remained in service after the war until 1953.

The Vickers Wellington was a British twin-engine basic WWII night bomber. After October 1940 it was also used by the Polish aviation in Great Britain. This extremely successful plane was produced from 1937 until the end of the war in 1945. It was created in many different variants which differed in equipment but not in the basic design. Due to their low manoeuvrability, the Wellingtons flew mainly at night. They were also perfect for coastal patrolling and as submarine hunters. Additionally, they were famous for their high resistance to damage sustained in combat.
The British Vickers Wellington bomber was precisely reproduced from COBI construction blocks in 1:37 scale. The plane is 53 cm long and has a wingspan of 71.5 cm. The design of such a huge model required the use of 1,162 bricks. The set also includes precise prints that do not rub off during intense play. The Supermarine Spitfire is the most famous British fighter of the Second World War. Its design turned out to be very innovative, which made it possible to use the fighter throughout the war. Poles also flew the Spitfire! The Lockheed® P-38 LIGHTNING® was a fast and heavily armed American long-range fighter aircraft of the Second World War. This unusual twin-engine aircraft had a nacelle with a pilot's cabin placed between two fuselages. The plane was decommissioned only in 1965.

The Messerschmitt BF 109 was the main Luftwaffe fighter from the Second World War, the most widely produced and in many different versions. Found on every German front of the Second World War, the E-3 version entered production in May 1939. Airplanes of this type took part in the Battle of Britain. The historic prints of the set refer to a machine flown by 22-year-old non-commissioned officer Horst Perez, who, due to a possible engine failure, had to make an emergency landing in a field in East Dean, Sussex. The pilot was taken prisoner, and the repaired plane was tested in the USA and Canada. Currently, the fighter is on display at a museum in Great Britain.

The Hawker Hurricane Mk I is one of the most popular British WWII fighters. It did very well in action, facing the German Messerschmitts. The small arms were eight 7.7mm Browning machine guns. The model designed by COBI refers to the colours of the Czechoslovakian pilot and fighter ace Josef František flying in the famous 303 Squadron.

The number 0 represents the end of the year 2600 (on the Japanese calendar) in which the aircraft was designed. Hence the popular term "Zero" invented by the British. The aircraft was designed by engineer Jirō Horikoshi in 1940 on the order of the Imperial Japanese Navy. The model was constantly modified during the war.

Wildcats were the only fighter protection for the US fleet. In the Pacific, the main opponents of the Wildcats were the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M fighters, popularly known as "Zero".

The Dornier Do 17Z-2 was a German bomber used during World War II. It gained a reputation for being a fast and manoeuvrable aircraft. It was designed and manufactured by Dornier Flugzeugwerke in the 1930s. The Do 17Z-2 version was one of the last variants of this model and was in operation by the beginning of the war. The DO 17 had a crew of 4 to 6 members, depending on its configuration. Its main task was to carry bombs to strategic targets, and its armament consisted of machine guns and cannons. Do 17 planes were used by the Luftwaffe during the European campaign and took part in bombing cities and industrial installations. Production of the Do 17Z-2 ended in 1940, and the aircraft were gradually withdrawn from service.

The Horten Ho 229 was one of the most extraordinary aircraft from World War II. Designed in the scale of 1:32, the set matches the size of other aircraft issued in the World War II Historical Collection. The flying wing has a span of 52.5cm and consists of 1,080 elements. The Horten Ho 229, also known as the Gotha Go 229, was a German experimental jet-powered aircraft of World War II. Classified as the "Wunderwaffe" (German: Wonder Weapon), it was supposed to be one of the projects that would help reverse the unfavourable course of the war for Germany. With its performance, Horten attempted to meet the requirements of the Luftwaffe competition for the construction of an "America Bomber" that would be able to hit targets in the USA. This extraordinary plane is the result of the Horten brothers, Walter and Reimar, who were not engineers, but aviation enthusiasts with extremely bold ideas. They specialized in the development of flying wing aircraft. The prototype was originally designated Horten H IX. The plane was equipped with two Junkers Jumo 004B turbojet engines. The design of the plane was extremely innovative. The wings were delta-shaped, and the fuselage was made of wood and composites, which reduced radar reflection. Some sources claim that the Horten Ho 229 was the first stealth aircraft in history. Research conducted after the war confirmed the reduction in radar reflection, but it was not significant enough to consider this aircraft undetectable to radar. The F-35®B LIGHTNING II® has been in service since 2015 and is capable of performing close support missions, bombing and typical fighter air combat missions. The F-35 is a supersonic aircraft with reduced in-flight detectability, has high reconnaissance and electronic warfare capabilities in the field of detection, tracking, targeting and jamming.
The missile armament consists of up to 6 AIM-120 AMRAAM, AIM-9X Sidewinder or AIM-132 ASRAAM missiles in internal ammunition chambers or two air-to-air missiles and two 455 kg bombs. Weapons for destroying ground targets can be JSOW or GBU-39 SDB bombs (4 in each bomb chamber), Brimstone anti-tank missiles, cluster bombs or AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missiles. At the cost of losing stealth property, it is possible to suspend the armament up to four under-wing pylons and two at the ends of the wings (for AIM-9).
The aircraft project is jointly financed by the governments of the United States, Great Britain and other countries interested in purchasing the aircraft. The F-35®B LIGHTNING II® was built under the direction of Lockheed Martin in collaboration with BAE Systems and Northrop Grumman.

The Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey is a fascinating and futuristic combination of a helicopter and an airplane. The tiltrotor/rotator was the first short take-off and landing multi-role aircraft. It owes its extraordinary properties to the rotating drive system. Engine nacelles with rotors with a diameter of 12 meters can rotate during flight. Thanks to this solution, the machine can take off and land like a helicopter, and after changing the position of the engines, it goes to horizontal flight. Turning the propulsion nacelles by 45 degrees enables both short take-off and landing, like STOL aircraft. The Osprey was jointly developed by Bell Helicopter Textron, which produces wings, engine nacelles with Rolls-Royce engines, rotors, propulsion system, tail control surfaces and loading ramp, and the Boeing Company, which produces the fuselage, cockpit, avionics and controls. The Osprey manufacturing company is called Bell-Boeing. Due to its extraordinary properties, the V-22 Osprey found its way into the equipment of the United States Marine Corps, United States Navy and other services, with the only exception being the US Army. It is used in missions around the world. The Osprey has marked its presence in the Middle East and Afghanistan. The first foreign user of the V-22 was Japan.

The COBI model of the Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey was released under the license of the American manufacturer of combat helicopters, Bell Helicopter Textron. Developed in 1:48 scale to match the rest of the Armed Forces collection, the model consists of 1090 elements and includes two figures depicting pilots in distinctive uniforms. The length of the model is 390 mm, the width is 500 mm! Completely new elements have been developed for the set, which make our model even better! Numerous detailed prints capture the look of the signature test paint. It was successfully used in the U.S. Air Force and by its allies during The Second World War and during the Korean War. The very successful design of the 1940s meant the aircraft stayed in service with one or more countries until 1984! Over a period of 46 years over 15,000 Mustangs were manufactured.
