Organic Spelt White Bread is ideally suited for organic growing due to its natural resistance to insect pests and disease. Spelt bread has a fine grain texture with a subtle but tasty flavour. It is an ideal substitute for wheat bread with many, many more nutritional and health benefits. A great source of wholegrain fibre, proteins, and natural vitamins and minerals. A great bread for those with a sensitive digestive system and for those searching for a Low GI bread. Spelt contains higher levels of protein, manganese, niacin, thiamine, copper & vitamin B2 than regular wheat. It is also high in fibre which helps reduce “bad” cholesterol levels.
